What this website collects.
Our form records interest in DeFlock NBTX campaign updates and volunteer coordination. It is not a legal initiative petition, a vote, or proof of voter eligibility. We will use the list to contact supporters when formal signing arrangements are announced.
The official petition is separate.
Texas Secretary of State guidance says Chapter 277 petition signatures must originate as non-digital, wet signatures. An online checkbox, Facebook RSVP or typed name on this website does not satisfy that requirement. Read the state guidance ↗
New Braunfels Charter §6.02 describes a citizen-initiative process and requires the proposed ordinance to accompany petition copies. The local provisions must be reconciled with controlling state law before circulation. Read the City Charter ↗
What we still need to confirm.
Legal review of the ordinance, the official signature minimum, petition format, sworn verification, collection window and filing timetable must be settled. No election date or formal circulation start has been announced.
Check city residence separately.
A New Braunfels mailing address is not proof that you live within the incorporated city limits. Residence and voter registration are separate checks. We do not collect home addresses, birthdates or voter numbers in this organizing form. Read the City’s explanation ↗

Help prepare the petition.
The online list prepares supporters for a later handwritten signature. It does not count toward the official petition.
