A practical case.
A prepared community.

Read the proposal, share the facts, and help organize the next step. Formal petition sheets will be released separately when circulation is ready.

The thirty-second pitch

DeFlock NBTX is working toward a citizen ordinance that keeps targeted license plate alerts and ends the City’s storage of non-hit vehicle histories. It allows compliant readers at approved city entry points and in moving police vehicles, limits voluntary sharing to named Texas agencies, and makes audits public. Join us as we prepare the petition process.

Five points to keep the conversation precise

  1. Preserve alerts. A lawful prospective hotlist is different from storing everyone’s nonmatches.
  2. Draw the city boundary correctly. A county line or an interstate exit is not automatically a New Braunfels entry point.
  3. Keep patrol mobile. Compliant readers in moving police vehicles are allowed. Parked readers do not bypass the location rule.
  4. Publish the recipients. Name the agencies and vendors that receive data or access, and report actual sharing.
  5. Acknowledge the tradeoff. Historical non-hit searches would end. Do not promise unchanged investigative outcomes.
